THIS SITE

When you join this site, you agree to abide by these MAIN rules and the Terms of Agreement when you join this Ning-powered site. Don't worry about the lengthiness look of the rules since most of them repeat the main rules of the site. They're easy to understand and won't take as much time to read, but please show your acknowledgment of the rules.

Be respectful to the site, its members, and its content.

Respect is a big thing to many people, cultures and religion and other benefactors. Any discouragement in any way, shape, idea, or form is a violation and you will be banned.

Do not use coarse language in a foul manner. ^{No pun intended.}

 We don't need you to filter your language TOO much; it's just a manner of how you use it. Please use your language wisely.

No flaming.

Remain civil, humans and creatures all alike. Flaming is disrespectful, and we will look upon you with shame, and possibly ban you.

Do not post mature or derogatory content.

No pornographical imagery or profane content or content that discourages others. You'll receive one warning first, your content will be deleted, then banned the next.

Do not ask to become an administrator or moderator.

I feel comfortable running a one-woman show, thank you very much. However, volunteering to help bring out information and helping newcomers around the Lost Frontier is fine. If you need any help, ask me, chibi-jak, and I will help you as best as possible.

FAN ART

ONLY FAN ART, COSPLAY, CROSSOVERS, ETC. IS ALLOWED. This is not a MySpace, I don't want pictures of yourself self in this site.

Any media is allowed.

From crafts to screenshots to traditional to digital media, this is all allowed, even scraps. Except for mature content.

Do not post art that is not yours without permission.

This is considered art theft, and we have a zero tolerance rate for art that is stolen. It will be deleted and you will be banned from the site. If you find any suspicions that art has been stolen, or posted on one's account* without permission, then please report it to chibi-jak.

Do not post art repeatedly.

Do not post an art piece more than once; if it is a modification to the original art, then it is allowed. We will just simply ask you to remove one or more of them.

Do not use others' art as your avatar without permission.

Unless otherwise stated, do not use another member's art as your avatar without permission. Do not post art that is not Jak and Daxter-related. We are strictly a Jak and Daxter fan-art site. Crossovers, parodies, and etc. are fine as long as they're Jak-related.

Do not post art that is obscene and/or mature.

As much as some of you might like to look at Jak-porn, THIS IS NOT ALLOWED HERE. This site is [by majority] Rated T for Teen, meaning there are certain 13-year olds who would not appreciate seeing profanity, nor their parent/guardian.

FAN FICTION

Those who have been here long enough know that there have been changes to the site. There are sites that you can post your fan fiction, FanFiction.Net being one of the most popular, and you can only advertise your fan fiction on this site.

You cannot post your actual fan fiction on this site.

I'll give you a month until you need to pack up and save your original fan fictions posted on this site because the Fan Fiction Corner will no longer exist. If not, then it will no longer exist. If you can't seem to have the time to, then I will send out your fan fictions in a txt.* file (Notepad).

You can only advertise your Fan Fiction on this site.

As I've said, we are no longer accepting fan fiction at this time.

You can do so in your Blogs, Clubs (if it's allowed), Profiles and the “Show Your Stuff” Forum.

Please provide the following to your Fan Fiction.

You must provide the Title, a small Summary, Genre (2 max), its Rating (K-M) and a link to your Fan Fiction.

Do not post your Fan Fiction in your Blogs, Clubs, Profile or the Forums section.

You can post links in these categories, just NOT THE ACTUAL STORY.

Do not advertise your Fan Fiction too heavily or in the wrong Forum section.

We do not want to see in every sentence you write “go to this please” and have it constantly showing up in our servers. More or less, it's annoying. Please, post it at vast intervals, and I mean it.

Do not advertise Fan Fiction over the “Mature” rating.

“Yaoi” and “Yuri” fan fic advertisements are allowed to an extent. It cannot exceed the rating of Mature. Meaning your fan fic cannot have over-excessive, sexual, rape etc, over-18 scenes, or be on a site that is an adult-oriented site. I'm a dirty-minded filth bag and I know how some people are, but please remember... you're not the only one on this site.

Do not plagiarize or advertise Fan Fiction that does not belong to you.

More or less, this violates the original author's rights and will lead you to instant banning.

Please ask for permission first before you do something like this. We're not all perfect, but please to at least try to make an effort please? :) It's much appreciated.

VIDEOS

Inappropriate, derogatory, or mature content will be deleted on the spot.

You know the basic rules surround every other rule here. DON'T DO IT.

DO NOT PLAGIARIZE OR POST VIDEOS MADE BY OTHERS.

Get the feeling we have a zero-tolerance discretion? Good. Because we do.

Do not post duplicate videos.

It's not smart to post the same thing someone else has posted; there are dates and times when they're uploaded. If there is a strong, STRONG, chain of this, you can be sought out and banned if you are duplicating.

Please give credit to where it is due.

If you cannot receive a reply from the original creator of a piece of work in the video because of (reason here) then please give credit to where you originally received it from and who did it. Please add a bibliography in your comments.

MUSIC

Do not add more than 100 songs on your playlist.

Only I have jurisdiction over this as I am a handler of certain downloadable songs. Therefore you do not need to worry. This is preprogrammed into the site. However....

Do not create extra profiles for more music.

This is ridiculous and unnecessary. Your extra profiles will be deleted and you will be banned from the site.

Do not add extra playlists from other sites onto your page.

You have 100 songs to listen to, and you can edit and delete them how you want. Isn't that enough for you? We will ask you to remove these extra playlists if you do so. If you refuse, immediate banning.

Please state if the music is Copyright Protected.

Since we can't ask everyone if the music is theirs, we would like for you to add that it is Copyright Protected if the music doesn't belong to you and that it was made by someone else.

Do not "hot-link" to sites without permission.

Hot-linking is when you copy and paste a web address from a site server's link. Do not do this unless they permit it and it's legal.

Any music is permitted, unless it is IMmature.

Tastes in music differ from person to person. However, we would like it if there wasn't music that consists of mature content here. Mature content would be considered pornographical, sexual themes, talking about doing weed, etc. Bad words are ok, just please, watch yourselves. There are younger members here too.

Add music that you believe best fits Jak and Daxter suits you, but does not violate the rules.

As I said before, everyone's tastes vary in music.

CLUBS

Anyone is free to create a club, as long as they're appropriate.

Out-of-range clubs are OK, as long as they're appropriate.

Yes, Clubs is one of the few places where you can talk about something other than Jak and Daxter, if you need to low down on a dosage of the franchise.

No “hater” clubs that discriminate a person's culture, nationality, religion, sex, age, etc. Meaning you can create a hate club (ex. The “Ashelin-Hater” Club) for fictional people only.

No religious cults or suicidal, threatening or conspiratorial clubs.

Yeah... I'd like it if people who join here are still alive and somewhat good...

No singling anyone out of clubs.

Just because you don't like the person doesn't mean they can't join unless they join for reckless intent. Then you will need to bring that up with me.

Do not join clubs to destroy them, or talk trash about other clubs.

We're on a “free-market” system, meaning it's fair for anyone to play in the game of clubbing. Don't put down other clubs to try and look better. Karma does exist.

BLOGS

Blogs have very simple rules, don't worry.

Anything goes, but beware.

Talk about whatever the hell you want, from home to Kingdom Hearts. It's your Journal. However, be AWARE of what you write because someone can use that info back at you.

Do not blog to discriminate and try to gang up on someone.

This can set you apart from others for miles, and you'd be considered the jerk for talking trash about someone you might not like on this site. If you don't like how they act, then tell them in a semi-mature matter. Don't go up to them and be all “You're an effing moron and I want you to eat shit and die.” No, that's just plain stupid. And a threat. Be smart, most of you are older than that.

ARCADE There are no rules for arcade games, just that if you find any games that you would like to share and post, then you can send me a message with the link, name of the game and I can create one to provide to the entire site. If it is a REALLY good game, I will broadcast it. As long as it's appropriate and abides to the site's MAIN emphasized rules then you're in the clear.i
